At some point in our lives, I believe that most people contemplate the question, “Am I enough?”
Am I enough just as I am? Am I enough based on what I stand for or don’t stand for? Am I enough in the work that I do, the knowledge I have, the contribution I make to others? Am I enough based on the colour of my skin, my religious beliefs, my choice of love interest? Am I enough with my body shape and size, my ability or disability, my gender identity?
So much questioning on the edge of doubt, fear, and uncertainty.
Wondering if we are enough can cloud our vision of ourselves and our ability to be who we are meant to be. There is no perfect human being, only a world full of interesting and unique individuals.
We. Are. Always. Enough.
